Top 1% of the United Kingdom Geography students at ages 16 + 18

School essay topics included / Belfast ‘Peace Walls’ (over 20 miles of separation barriers still divide communities across Northern Ireland, a legacy of the conflict, ‘The Troubles’) / Ecclesiastical Art and Design; and Minimalism

6 Years University Education  / Edinburgh College of Art – majored in Architecture but minored in fine art painting, furniture design, creative writing + art history

Queen’s University, Belfast, including top of the class for GIS

Skydiving license attained (Queen’s Skydive Club)

Currently serving within Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland (OSNI) the national mapping agency, Land & Property Services, Northern Ireland Civil Service. OSNI has a shared history with the other national mapping agencies in the UK & Ireland which has roots as the oldest national mapping organization in the world

Double Nominee at the All Ireland Technology Awards (Eircom Spider Awards) in Geography and Charity Categories (for a non-profit, zero budget project, World Veterinary Service)

Chartered Geographer (CGeog, Royal Geographical Society) + affiliated with a range of professional organizations such as those across Surveying, Art & Design
